Weld Inspection of Hot Gas Rod Welding, Extrusion Welding, and Butt Welding

Weld inspection can be performed on several levels. Plastek Werks Inc. utilizes specific weld inspections on all in-house and field welds for all plastic fabrications and plastic repairs especially where environmental, health or safety issues exist.

Plastek Werks is also open to required third party testing to insure the weld integrity of all our welds. This could include on-site inspection and/or shop welding inspection. Testing on our welds can be performed in accordance with applicable DVS or ASTM standard specifications.

Plastek Werks can also provide third party testing services. We can inspect a weld for failure analysis or forensic evaluation of plastic weld failures, where we review the parent material composition, fabrication, welder test procedure, and certification records. We can provide complete laboratory testing, as well as expert witness testimony.
