Advantages
Both wet and dry abrasive applications can be handled by a variety of engineered materials. Solutions for wear in chutes, hoppers, troughs, turntables and other process equipment have been achieved. The turntable shown utilizes a lining process, where as the trough section uses structural fabrication.
Material Selection
Urethane, UHMW - PE (Ultra high molecular weight-polyethylene), Nylon, and Delrin, are among the most common materials being used for these types of applications.
